Reviews and Ratings
My stay was unfortunately quite disappointing. While the location had potential due to the beautiful area nearby, the issues with cleanliness and the service left a lot to be desired. The room was infested with insects which made it unbearable. On a positive note, there was a promise of a refund that never materialized, adding to my frustration rather than any worth from the stay.
I had a tough stay due to bed bugs, which ruined anything good about this motel. The check-in process was lackluster, and the room was noisy with a dirty carpet. However, I did appreciate that it was only for a one-night stay, and I was hopeful to just get through the night. I can't recommend this place if you're concerned about cleanliness or comfort.
Western Holiday Lodge is a convenient spot for anyone visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and there's ample parking available. The complimentary breakfast is decent, though we didn't get to try the pool. Overall, our experience was positive, making us consider staying here again despite minor updates needed.
I had a disappointing experience with the hotel, primarily due to the extremely rude staff. The location is excellent for visiting Sequoia National Park, but the overall quality of the lodging leaves much to be desired. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, and I didn't feel welcomed during my stay. While the property has some nice outdoor spaces, the lack of amenities and poor customer service made it hard to enjoy my time there.
This hotel is conveniently located at the entrance of Sequoia National Park, making it a great base for exploring the area. However, the overall cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality leave much to be desired. The facilities were not well-maintained, and while the rooms had potential, they felt outdated and poorly cleaned. The breakfast was basic, and the Wi-Fi was subpar. If you can find alternative accommodations, I would recommend considering those instead.
